Davids, also known as David’s, is one of Prahran’s best-known Chinese restaurants. The restaurant’s own site lists it at 4 Cecil Place, Prahran, and says it was established in 1999. It describes the food as comfort Chinese cooking inspired by country Shanghai, with founder David Zhou’s heritage shaping the restaurant’s identity.
